A new commercial complex will open at the JR Nagasaki Station in 2023. JR Kyushu announced on Monday that it would move up the opening year for the Marriott Hotel and other commercial facilities by about two years. By opening the new building as early as possible after the completion of the Nagasaki shinkansen in 2022, JR Kyushu aims to increase revenues faster to recover from new coronavirus-induced losses.
