Fukuoka City-based JTB Kyushu has begun selling overseas package tours to coincide with school summer vacations in which children from age 2-18 will be charged half of the adult price. Usually, children above the age of 12 are charged adult fees in travel agency package tours. JTB Kyushu said that the government’s recent child allowance was one reason they created the tour. The packages offered are from Fukuoka City to Hawaii, Guam, Singapore, or Seoul.
