Aeon Kyushu said it will launch a limited-edition chilled Chinese noodle dish featuring jelly made with fully ripened Oita-grown kabosu citrus on April 29 at 244 Aeon group stores across Kyushu. The product will remain on sale through September 27, with the company targeting sales of one million servings worth ¥300 million. Available in regular and mini sizes, the dish is part of Aeon Kyushu’s original prepared food line. The kabosu, typically used in processed goods, is served as a separate jelly topping to preserve its aroma and allow customers to change the flavor partway through the meal. The noodles are made with 100% Kyushu-grown wheat, and the campaign will feature entertainer AMEMIYA. Source: Nikkei / OBS News
