The Kagoshima University Law School announced it will introduce a system in April next year in which exceptional students will be exempted from tuition fees. In the new system, the top two or three students in the class during the first semester will be exempt from 402,000 yen tuition payment for the second semester. The school already awards scholarships to the top three students of each class based on their overall results in the previous school year. Source: Nishinippon Shimbun
