A new station square opened in front of JR Kashii Station on Mar. 12. The square extends in front of a red torii-motif gate at the entrance of the station building. The design is representative of Kashii Shrine’s exterior. Inside the square of approximately 3,400 square meters, covered bus stops, taxi stand, drop-off and pick-up points for privately owned cars and paid-parking lots are now available.
