KIT to Launch Own Satellite

To commemorate its 100th anniversary this May, the Kyushu Institute of Technology in Kitakyushu announced that early next year, India will launch a rocket to send into orbit a satellite that the school’s students built. The satellite will be used to conduct tests of the space environment, including high-temperature, low-temperature, and vibration trials. This will be the sixth satellite built by Japanese students to be launched into space.
