Kitakyushu Air Cargo To Double Volume

Kitakyushu Airport intends to double its cargo facilities within fiscal 2021. While the new coronavirus’s impact has suspended its international passenger businesses, the volume of cargo shipped between Kitakyushu and Incheon (South Korea) shot up. It is expected that Fukuoka Prefecture and Kitakyushu City would invest ¥200 million respectively for the project. Source: KBC / NHK
