Yamaguchi Financial Group President Koichi Fukuda held a news conference on the 12th in regard to the policies of the affiliated Bank of Kitakyushu, which will open for business on October 3. Rather than compete with other banks, he said, the institution’s objective is to be recognized as a local bank. They plan to offer banking services to MSBE’s and individuals through a policy of operating multiple branches.
