A former teacher in Kitakyushu City was arrested on April 5 for attempting to commit an indecent act with a female student at the junior high school where he worked. According to the police, the suspect, a 61-year-old teacher at a municipal junior high school in Tobata-Ku, Kitakyushu, was arrested in February for attempting to commit an indecent act on a then 15-year-old junior high school girl in a parked car in the city. He is suspected of hugging her and attempting to commit a lewd act. He admitted that he “liked her and took her for an after-school ride.” Source: KBC
