The city of Kitakyushu already has agreements for providing technological and infrastructural assistance to nine Cambodian cities for water supply and sewage systems, and they will add an additional two in March next year. The city and two private sector companies have received an order for the expansion of the water supply systems of Battambang and Kampong Cham through JICA. The current supply systems cover only 27% of the former city and 51% of the latter city.
