Kitakyushu Signs Cooperation Pact With Taiwan’s Kaohsiung

On July 2, Kitakyushu City announced a cooperation agreement with Kaohsiung, Taiwan, home to ASE, the world’s largest provider of semiconductor backend services. The pact includes economic collaboration, smart city development, and mutual tourism promotion. Kitakyushu Mayor Kazuhisa Takeuchi signed the agreement during a visit to Kaohsiung on July 1.
