Kitte Hakata, scheduled to open Apr. 21, has announced its tenants through the Japan Post. There will be 14 floors, housing a total of 131 shops. The theme of this shopping complex is “Anyone, Anytime, Every Day”, and the range of shops taking up residence within it is correspondingly broad. The list includes HMV & Books’ second Japanese branch (the first is in Tokyo), an international clinic and rehabilitation center, and a wedding hall. 30% of the shops will specialise in clothing, such as Uniqlo (which will take up half a floor), and there will be 50 restaurants and cafes – 21 of which will be new to Kyushu, including Tsukiji Sushi Sei, Honolulu Cafe and Natural Dining Hakatagi (French-Japanese fusion cuisine).
