In a successful joint bid to host foreign Olympians ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, the cities of Koga and Fukutsu were selected to host the training camp for the Romanian judo team. The cities will now work on improving training and lodging facilities and plan to offer the team subsidies for accommodation fees and travel. They will also arrange school visits, judo workshops for local youth and outreach events with the local citizens, all of which will be publicized in the city bulletins and on social media. The mayors of both cities expressed their desire to work together to use this opportunity to promote more international exchange. Source: fiba.jp
