Korean Air announced that they will reduce the number of flights running between Fukuoka and Busan. The airline currently operates two round trips a day. However, this will drop to one per day from September 29 to November 16. The company will also cut the number of daily round trips connecting Fukuoka and Incheon from four to three. The decision was taken following a decrease in passengers traveling between these destinations. Airline officials believe that the deteriorating relationship between Japan and South Korea is a major factor in this recent trend. A number of other low cost carriers have also decided to cut the number of flights linking Fukuoka and South Korea. Source: Television Nishinippon Corporation (TNC), 8/21/2019
