A 29-year-old Korean woman was arrested at Fukuoka Airport after allegedly elbowing a customs officer who stopped her from photographing a Korean male idol in a restricted area on February 17. After the initial assault, she attempted to strike the officer’s face and resisted arrest by lying on the floor and flailing. Other officers intervened and detained her. The assaulted officer was uninjured. The woman, who identified herself as a designer, denied the charges during questioning in Korean and broken English, claiming she was not angry and did not hit the officer. Source: KBC
