Kumamoto Pref To Open Kyushu’s Second Night-Time Junior High School

The education committee for Kumamoto Prefecture intends to open a nighttime junior high school in 2024. Influenced by the results of a November survey, in which about 80% of international respondents hoped to learn at such a facility, the development process would begin in the fiscal year of 2022 with a budget of ¥18 million. The school would support truant students and foreigners who wish to learn the Japanese language. Source: Kumanichi
