The “Tenjin Art Project” is a project to convert the vacant first floor of the Fukuoka Tenjin Center Building, an office building located along Meiji-dori Avenue, into an art space. Focusing on the narrative of the plot formerly occupied by a bank, we will create a one-of-a-kind world view based on the ideas of students majoring in the arts. In addition, since the Tenjin area used to be home to many samurai residences, there will be a booth where visitors can try their hand at “origata,” a form of etiquette that originated in the days of samurai society.
