Kyuden Invests ¥250 Billion Into Reusable Energy Project

On Apr. 28, Kyushu Electric Power Co., Inc. (Kyuden) announced its Carbon Neutral Vision 2050. During the next five years, the company would invest approximately ¥250 million to increase reliance on reusable energy. The project ultimately targets to achieve ‘net-zero’ CO2 emissions by the fiscal year of 2050 by discontinuing coal-fired power generation and more. To secure initial funds, the issuance of green bonds of around ¥10 million is scheduled for June 2021. Source: Kyuden
