Kyuden to Close IRIS Showroom in IMS Building
Kyuden announced plans to close eight “IRIS” showrooms around Kyushu by March 2013, including the one inside the IMS Building in Tenjin, Fukuoka. The showrooms demonstrate the advantages of homes powered by electricity only. The closures are an effort by the utility to keep a lower profile in the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
