The Kyushu branch of the Development Bank of Japan released the results of its survey of companies who plan to invest in plants and equipment this year in Kyushu. Their survey shows that the aggregate amount planned for all industries is 673.4 billion yen, a 1.5% year-on-year decline, and the second straight decrease. This is attributed to the end of the cycle of large scale investments for the construction of factories producing solar cells.
