The Fukuoka branch of Teikoku Databank Ltd. released the results of its survey of companies who plan to make capital investments this year in Kyushu and Okinawa. Amongst 891 of the companies who responded, 38.4% answered “no plans,” the highest percentage since the survey began four years ago. The results reflect a significant tendency of cutting non-urgent investments, except for IT-related matters to support or promote the teleworking environment. Source: Nikkei
