Kyushu Electric Power Co. revealed that it had established Kyushu Hi-Tech (SPELLING UNCONFIRMED) to handle inspections and repairs at its power plants and transmission facilities. It will combine and integrate these functions already carried out by the utility’s three group companies. They plan to transfer the employees assigned to those tasks at the three companies to the new outfit and begin operations in July.
