Kyushu Electric Power and Saibu Gas announced the rates they will charge for electricity and gas in May. Kyushu Electric will reduce the electricity bill for a standard home by 204 yen from the April amount to 6,523 yen. Meanwhile, Saibu Gas will cut its rates by 292 yen to 5,845 yen. Both of these reductions are the highest ever for both companies.
