Kyushu Electric to Receive Power from Nippon Steel

Kyushu Electric Power has signed an agreement with Tokyo-headquartered Nippon Steel to receive power generated by the thermal plants jointly operated with the steelmaker during peak demand periods. Nippon Steel will supply the power when it has generated a surplus. The maximum amount of the supply will be around 100,000 kW.
