Chikuho Bank of Kurume has selected Kyushu Medical of Kitakyushu as the recipient for its 2012 Chikugin Bioventure Research and Development Award. The award is given to help foster and support local bioventure startups. Kyushu Medical was selected for its R&D for products using microorganisms.
