Kyushu-Okinawa Food Businesses Post Decreased Sales

The Fukuoka branch of Teikoku Databank announced the sales ranking for Kyushu and Okinawa-based restaurant businesses for the fiscal year of 2020. A record number (35) of the top 50 companies reported reduced incomes. The combined sales of those fifty companies dropped by 11.4% compared to the year before. Meanwhile, Fukuoka City-based Plenus topped the ranking for the 18th straight year with annual sales of ¥129.9 billion. Source: Saga Shimbun
