Kyushu Pancake Expands With New Pasta Products

Kyushu Table, the Miyazaki-based manufacturer of Kyushu Pancake, launched a new pasta product in Taiwan and Japan on June 28. Named Seven Grain Pasta, the noodles are made with grains harvested from seven prefectures in Kyushu. Ingredients such as flour from Oita Prefecture and rice from Miyazaki and Fukuoka are used in three different types of pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, and linguine, ¥350 per package of 2 servings) by a traditional somen noodle producer in Nagasaki. The bouncy noodles with a rich aroma of grains fit various styles of cuisine, including Japanese, Western, and Chinese. Kyushu Table is developing Kyushu-origin food products for the international market, and this is the first product in the series. Source: Kyushu Pancake, 5/28/2019
