Kyushu Pancake debuted a Taiwanese pineapple dish to commemorate friendship with the region. ‘Pineapple and white chocolate pancake’ (¥1,500) combines the refreshing taste of Taiwanese-produced pineapple and white chocolate and is topped with soy-whipped cream. It is designed to boost the consumption of the region’s pineapple harvest, which is experiencing a glut caused by cancellations of orders from China. Kyushu Pancake opened its first overseas shop in Taiwan six years ago. (*Served at Kyushu Pancake Cafe Miyazaki Main Shop, Hyuga Togo Shop, and Takeo Kids’ Library Shop.)
