The governments of the seven Kyushu prefectures are sending a total of 93 employees to Iwate, Miyagi, and Fukushima, the three prefectures in the Tohoku region with the most damage in last year’s disaster, starting this month, a Nishinippon Shimbun survey revealed. The focus of their efforts will be on rebuilding the infrastructure and the health management of the residents. Fukuoka is sending the highest number of employees at 24.
