Kyushu Sangyo University to Collaborate with Stanford University

From April, Kyushu Sangyo University in Fukuoka city will collaborate with Stanford University to offer a global educational program called “SPICE” that aims to solve worldwide issues. This program is part of Stanford University’s regular education curriculum and is conducted in English using online classes. It focuses on three themes: diversity, sustainability, and entrepreneurial spirit. The students will engage in discussions and presentations with each other. Kyushu Sangyo University will be the second university in Japan to offer this program, and it plans to invite Japanese Americans with ties to Kyushu as guest speakers. The chairman of the university, Kenji Tsugami, expressed his hopes that students who participate in this program will become future leaders in the world. Source: Kyushu Sangyo University / KBC
