Kyushu Sangyo University Unveils Large High Tech Sports Arena

Kyushu Sangyo University unveiled its new gymnasium, Okusu Arena 2020, to the media on July 9. The high-tech arena is equipped with thirty ceiling cameras that can provide video analysis and a device to adjust oxygen levels for simulated high-altitude training. The total floor space of 17,500 is one of the largest in western Japan. It can also shelter 3,800 persons in case of disasters. Sources: Mainichi / Nikkei
