The Kyushu Tourism Promotion Organization has announced a policy that aims to attract more tourists to Kyushu. By providing people with the opportunity to virtually experience various tourist destinations in Kyushu online, the organization aims to encourage them to visit in person. It will also launch a homepage that showcases the various subsidies and discounts offered by local governments and operators and use social media to provide this information to people who visit Kyushu. The organization hopes to attract a large number of domestic visitors by pairing up its scheme with the national government’s Go To Campaign and the various tourism promotion policies of local governments.
