Kyushu University Alumni, Koichi Wakata Back To Space Station

Astronaut and Kyushu University alumni, Koichi Wakata, will join the Crew Dragon spaceship’s space journey in the fall of 2022. The 58-year-old astronaut has the domestic record for most cumulative time working in space, at 347 days. His next space travel would be another long-term stay on the International Space Station. Crew Dragon is the first private crewed spacecraft, and two Japanese astronauts have been onboard for their 2020 and 2021 flights. Source: NHK
