Kyushu University Hospital Links COVID Vaccinations Followed by Fevers To Higher Antigen Count

Joint research by Kyushu University and Fukuoka City Hospital revealed higher antibody levels for those who experienced fevers after the second shot of the COVID-19 vaccination. Among 335 workers who took the Pfizer vaccines in May and June in 2021, and those who developed high fever (38 degrees or above) gained up to 1.8 times more antibodies compared to others without fever (lower than 37 degrees.) The study confirmed no relations between antigen levels and other side effects such as joint pains and headaches. Source: Kyushu University / Mainichi
