Kyushu University announced the opening of a new school that allows students to learn while earning wages at partner companies. The Mathematics for Innovation school combines mathematical approaches and AI technologies to foster social innovation; the number of postgraduate students in the field was low due to weak connections to actual business. The new school would also introduce a system to provide postgraduate diplomas to working learners. Source: Kyushu University
