The Kyushu Regional Agricultural Administration Office released its White Paper for business year 2007 on the state of agriculture in the region. The paper notes that profitability is down in the livestock sector due to increased feed and fuel prices. The office calls for an increase in the self-sufficiency of feed to 25%, which would result in lower costs.
