Fukuoka Prefecture announced a rise in average land prices for the fiscal year of 2020. While the entire country experienced a fall in prices due to the novel coronavirus’s economic impact, the prefecture reported a slight increase of 1.2% for the 922 lots in the study. The most significant rise was recorded at Hakata-ekimae 3 chome (+16.1%; commercial land,) as well as Hikarimachi 2 chome in Kasuga City and Nishikimachi 4 chome in Onojo City (9.3%; residential lands.)
