Some of the large stores in Tenjin and Hakata will close this weekend to cooperate with the government’s request for people to go out less. Tenjin Chikagai, Solaria Plaza, and Solaria Stage announced that they would be closed on the weekends of 4/4 ~ 4/5 and 4/11 ~ 4/12, except for some co-located drugstores and supermarkets. Iwataya and Mitsukoshi department stores will also close on the same dates. In Hakata, Amu Plaza Hakata (JR Hakata City) will close on the same days, while Kitte Hakata will close on 4/4 ~ 4/5, 4/11 ~ 4/12 and 4/18 ~ 4/19.
