Lead and Mercury Detected On Former Kyushu University Farm

High levels of lead and mercury were detected in the soil of the former site of Kyushu University’s farm ground. The 4700-m2 plot in Kasuya Town was slatted for redeveloped by Kasuya Town, while the university will replace the contaminated soil soon. The university’s faculty of agriculture used the farm ground until last March. Source: NHK / KBC
