The number of limited express trains stopping at Ohashi Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line increased from August 26. On weekdays there will be two additional limited express trains stopping at the station, one during the morning rush hour and one at night. An extra three will stop at Ohashi on weekends and holiday mornings. Nishi-Nippon Railway announced that the average number of passengers using the station per day in 2016 was approximately 35,680, the third largest on the line after Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) and Yakuin. It is hoped that the increase will make travel more convenient for commuters. Source: Mainichi Shimbun, 8/27/2017
