On June 3, Toyota Motor Kyushu, Inc. donated an emergency stockpile food for students at Kyushu Institute of Technology in Iizuka City. Meanwhile, Aso College Group purchased 2.5 tons of rice and distributed it to approximately 550 exchange students at its thirteen special skill schools. According to the organization, 90% of those students currently have fewer or have lost all their part-time jobs. Additionally, a Kitakyushu-based izakaya Suisho gifted free rice and canned food to about 100 exchange students at the University of Kitakyushu, hoping to encourage similar initiatives in the region.
