In a shocking turn of events, a 42-year-old company employee was arrested for impersonating a police officer and assaulting a female university student in Chikushino City in April of this year. The individual, identified as a resident of Tosu, Saga Prefecture, allegedly approached the student on the streets of Chikushino City after midnight on April 10. Matsukawa, posing as a police officer, inquired whether the student, who was seated and on the phone, was a minor. After she hung up, he is said to have knocked her over, resulting in injuries to her knees, and allegedly inappropriately touched her over her clothing. Despite the mounting allegations, Matsukawa has denied the charges. During police questioning, he claimed that while he indeed had indecent intentions, he doesn’t recall touching her chest.
