Marinoa City Fukuoka Hosts Farewell Ferris Wheel Lottery

Marinoa City Fukuoka, a prominent commercial complex in Fukuoka’s Nishi Ward, will close in August to make way for a new facility. As its final major event, the iconic Ferris wheel has been transformed into a lottery wheel for a farewell campaign. Visitors can participate in the Ferris wheel lottery, where gondolas feature panels indicating “big win” or “no win.” A ride in the “super big win” gondola awards a 5,000 yen shopping voucher, usable at around 140 stores within the facility. The campaign runs until May 31. A Marinoa City spokesperson encouraged visitors to enjoy the various events and campaigns leading up to the closing date on August 18. Source: Marinoa City / TNC
