Mayor Takashima Appointed To Japan’s Digitalization Research Committee

Fukuoka City Mayor, Soichiro Takashima, became the only local-government leader to join Japan’s provisional commission for digital transformation. The recently established commission is led by Prime Minister Kishida and promotes administrative reformation for the national and local governments alike with the Chief Cabinet Secretary and four ministers. Takashima and seven experts, including a Tokyo-University professor and the Executive Chairman of DeNA, will support them. The first meeting will be held on November 16. Source: NHK / Mainichi
