Meiwa Electric Motors Release First Electric Scooter
Meiwa Electric Motors, based in Itoshima City, Fukuoka have announced the release of their first ever electric scooter which will be available from the end of October. The scooter is primarily intended to be used by couriers and can travel up to 100 km on a single charge. The scooter costs ¥396,000 including the battery. It will be on sale at Meiwa Electric Motors as well as other distributors in Fukuoka, Miyazaki and Oita prefecture. Initially, the company are aiming to sell 1,000 electric scooters.
