A Mickey Mouse-themed JR Kyushu bullet train will go into service on May 17 as part of a special project that celebrates 90 years since Disney’s much-loved mascot first hit screens. Limited edition merchandise will be on sale during the “Go! Waku Waku Trip with Mickey” initiative. The designs on the exterior of the six carriage 800 series shinkansen will be revealed in late April. The train will run from Hakata to Kagoshima and will operate until the end of November.
