Fukuoka’s Minimum Wage to Rise by ¥51
Fukuoka Labour Bureau announced an increase in the prefecture’s minimum hourly wage from 941 yen to 992 yen, effective October 5. The 51-yen hike is the largest since 2002 and aims to address inflation and regional disparities.
