Minna no Bank, a digital bank under the Fukuoka Financial Group, is collaborating with Kitakyushu City’s “Gen Z Division” to support youth-led revitalization ideas through financial contributions. Starting this month, customers can open a designated account named “Kitakyushu City Gen Z Division.” Between June 4 and the end of September, Minnanobank will donate funds to the city—up to ¥1 million—based on deposit totals in these accounts. The donations will fund initiatives proposed by winners of a youth revitalization contest scheduled for August. The bank expressed its desire to convert public support into monetary backing for young people’s ideas.
