Kitakyushu-based Mitsui High-tec released its consolidated results for the year ended January 2010, showing a current loss of 4.032 billion yen and a net loss of 4.966 billion yen on sales of 37.924 billion yen. Sales dropped 24.8% from the previous year. Those were also the second consecutive annual losses in both categories, and are higher than those of the previous year. The performance was attributed to the effect of the economic downturn on the auto and consumer electronics industries, where most of its customers are.
