Miyazaki City to Receive Support for Garden Tourism

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism Kyushu Regional Development Bureau appointed Miyazaki City as one of six important locations for its first-ever support program for garden tourism. Botanical gardens and traditional Japanese gardens have been attracting more attention amongst international tourists in recent years. To maximize the potential of those spots as tourist attractions, the ministry will start to support promotional activities such as the development of model courses and sales of garden hopping tickets by inviting the representatives to international tourism events.
